Welcome to the Home of Spicy, Mexican Dinners!

There are many people that care a lot about how their food tastes rather than how much it costs. If you just so happen to be one of these people than you might be interested in the real family-owned Mexican restaurants. There is no need to pay hundreds of dollars to visit a 5 star chain restaurant when you can have the real thing. You can have those mouth-watering Mexican food flavors by visiting just a small family owned restaurant that serves homemade secret recipes but some of the favorite foods that are commonly eaten. You might already by a huge fan of Mexican food, and if that is the caser then you most certainly already know about the different traditional dishes that are offered. However, if you are planning to try Mexican food for the first time then there are some things that you should take into consideration before purchasing your Mexican meal.

Our Spicy Foods

Are you a fan of spicy food?—can you handle it? If so then you will definitely love Mexican food because the majority of the dishes that they serve have a spicy flavor to them. Some meals are slightly spicy while others are very spicy. If you don’t like spicy food then you should probably be careful about what you order; there are some items on the menu at Mexican restaurants that are not spicy so you might want to ask your waiter about which food items are spicy and which aren’t.
It should not be that big of an issue when you visit a Mexican restaurant in the U.S. or in Europe; these are called Tex-Mex restaurants. Our meats are all provided by meat suppliers who are certified in healthy dining. However, if you are in Mexico, then you need to make certain that you are clear on what you want and you understand what you are ordering. Menu items that are spicy will often say so or they will have a picture of a habanero next to them so that you will know that the food item is hot.

Mexcian Terms

Many people ordering Mexican food for the first time do not know the terms that are used on the menu nor do they understand what the terms mean. It is a good idea to have a better understanding of these terms so that you know what you know what you are ordering. Below are some of the words that are used for food items on the menu in many Mexican restaurants:

  • Ojo-eye
  • Bistec-steak
  • Pollo-chicken
  • Pastor-spiced pork
  • Suadero-beef brisket

Whether you know these terms already or you don’t know these terms, the majority of the food items that are on the menu are still quite tasty. There is no need to worry about cat or dog meat being on the menu, but be aware that in some regions there are crickets included in some food items; so know what you are ordering!
Street food is probably the best Mexican food that you can buy. However, you might hear many people not recommending the street food because of people getting sick in the past. Generally the reason that most people get sick from the food is because of how spicy it is. You will realize that the Mexican street food tastes better than the Mexican food at many of the chain restaurants.
